Microbicides 2006 Access Symposium

IPM and the World Health Organization co-hosted “Country Preparedness for Microbicides in Developing Countries” at the Microbicides 2006 conference in Cape Town, South Africa (April 2006). Speakers discussed the timeline for microbicide introduction, the challenges to introduction and use at a country level and lessons to be learned from the introduction and use of the female condom.
